Trouble installing SAMP

I keep trying to install it but when i get to where it asks you to save it to your comp, while installing it, it won't let me install it in any folder. I have tried running it as admin and everything. Am I missing something?

Are you saving it in C:\Program Files (x86) ???
Sometimes you will have to add (x86).. I'm not sure... But that happend to me and that was the problemm

Well the thing is I have it on a different Harddrive than my OS also I don't have a hard copy of San Andreas, I have the one that you get through steam. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Alright. First step,
1. Download this.

2. Place this in "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto san andreas"

3. Install SA-MP, Direct it to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto san andreas" in the install bit.

4. Done?


Please note, the Steam version of San Andreas is running patch v3.0, all mods and SA-MP are running on v1.0, that's what the download is.
